Description
The characteristic zigzag knitting pattern probably comes from the Irish Aran Islands. Our Aran sweater is nice and warm as it is knitted with an extra large portion of fine merino wool. The large stitches and the voluminous knit trap small air cushions that have an additional insulating effect. It is definitely the all-weather sweater for cold days. With ribbed cuffs on the body and arms and a classic round neck collar.

首元、袖口、裾はリブ編み。

分厚くなく、やや薄手の生地感。
 

特徴的なジグザグの編みのデザインは、

アイルランドの船乗りたちが着ていたニットに由来している柄です。
 

ジグザグ編みの隙間から、わずかに裏が透けて見えますが、あまり気になりません。

編みに凹凸があることで断熱性を高める作りとなっており、

真冬も暖かく着用できます。
 

シルエットも綺麗。

シンプルながら、奥行きを感じる１着です。
